The legendary Yezdi's rebirth

One of India's most favourite motorcycles brands of the 70's is now on its way to an absolutely mighty comeback to the Indian market. As you all know,Jawa and Yezdi are now technically same company. As jawa has comeback to the Indian market with the Java classic, Java 42, Java Perak etc. And now yeshi is working on two motorcycles. One will be of a scrambler body type and the other an adventure tourer.

Launch:-

These motorcycles are expected to launch next year (2022) as of now.

Technicals and engines:-

As Jawa and Yezdi are technically the same brand now, many parts are expected to be shared including the engines.
They have 2 engines in their portfolio, both of which happens to be a single cylinder, liquid cooled engines.
They have a 293 cc engine which produces around 27 hp and 27 Nm torque which they have used in their Classic,42 etc.
And then they have a 334 cc engine that churns out a 30.5 Hp with 32.7 Nm torque.

Exterior:-

Yezdi scrambler

Yezdi adventure tourer(name not revealed)

The major styling elements of both these bikes aren't very unique to the Indian market. The scrambler happens to be a typical scrambler design but it would be a new, interesting and exciting offer in its segment and the price point.
But the adventure tourer is not new to the segment. It has its major rival, the Royal Enfield Himalayan which looks very similar to the Yezdi adventure tourer.

Scrambler

Starting from the front, it has a round headlamp and it looks quite good. It has a very relaxed riding posture. It has a black finish in its engine part too. It has a very unique dressing to its exhaust. It also has spoked wheels and some exposed frame  to match the retro theme along with those round headlamps.

Adventure tourer

The adventure tourer has exterior highly adopted from the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
They have a very similar stands to it.
From the front, it has a tall windscreen which is good for an adventure tourer.
It comes with round headlamps too.It will most probably have a fully digital instrument console. It will surely have additional accessories like exoskeleton, jerrycans, saddle bags, topbox etc

Conclusion:-

Yezdi is trying to make a a comeback to the Indian market. If the engines come out to be as I mentioned above, the suspension, chassi ride, and most importantly its price
will determine the future of Yezdi in India.
