biggest 4k tv under 40k
Many brands have come into the smart TV category and the latest entrant is acer. In the 3 series, their budget series is the P series (32" And 43") That includes HD+ and FHD. Then there is boundless series (43", 50", & 55") Snd the upper varient is the XL series (58" And 70") These are the 7 different TVs launched in different categories. We're talking about 58" XL series.
Box content - Firstly after getting the TV, you'll get some documentation, a TV obviously, it's stands, a remote and 2 batteries for it. There's an audio cable and a power cable tii. And that's about it in the box.
Bezels - And to tell you, the boundless series is called so because it's bezels are very slim. And this is an XL series TV l, that means thay are big sized TV's.
Build quality - The stands are of plastic but they're good quality. The basels in XL are a but thick but they're ok. Behind there's a metal back which us rare. Overall the build quality I'd say is decent.
Ports & buttons - You get 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, a 3.5mm jack, RJ45, an analog cable output etc. So all the ports that you want are there but the USB ports are 2.0 and there's not 1USB 3.0.
Display - display is very important on a TV. If you look at it from front, the colours look absolutely great. Especially on this big TV.
If you look from the sides, then the punchy colours seems a little whitish. But if you look from the front, then the colours look absolutely great becaut it has HDR10+ support. Meaning you can watch 1 billion colours on this panel and these are all 4k UHD TVs. Especially the boundless and XL series. You don't get in the P series. And if you're watching it from front in the alED panel the blacks look really black. It has 420 Nits of brightness. And for a TV, it's quite good. And 1 good feature is that if you're playing a video at 1080p, it'll upscale it to 4K for a better experience.
Specifications - in both the boundless and XL series, you get 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also has 64bits quad core processor.
OS UI - it has a stock Android TV UI but it's Android 9. Android 10 would've been better which might come through updates. But it has Android 9 which is a quiet responsive and it doesn't have an upper UI. It has a pure stock Android TV experience.
Remote - To interact with the OS you get a remote which is different, especially with the steely chrome buttons in the middle. You get many buttons but there are 4 buttons as shortcut for netflix, YouTube, prime video, and Tikilive for cable. Amd the button in the middle is for google assistant, there's a mic as well above.
Audio quality - Both TVs (XL and boundless) have 24W speakers and if you increase the volume up to 60%,it gets quiet loud already but above the level, it starts breaking as the volume is high and 24W is good enough.
Price - that's very important. At what price will they be available. Now this 58" TV is available at Rs43K and with offers it'll get cheeper. But I'll tell you, it's price is good. Generally you get 50"-55" TVs around Rs 43-45K. But this one is 58" Meaning you get 3" Big pannel and you're getting it at Rs 43K. So, overall, the P, XL and boundless series price are quite aggressive and l like that. So according to that I'd say, you should definitely consider this TV if a 65" TV is too big and 55" Is too small. The 43" Boundless TV series is priced at Rs 35K and the P series starts at Rs 16,999 for 32". For every category, I think the Acer TVs price are good and aggressive.
